Yvonne Shaw, EWGA Member since 2012

Yvonne Shaw grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She currently lives in Alpharetta, Georgia with her husband Bennie, but also maintains a home in Tallahassee, Florida. She has four adult children who live in different cities on the east coast. She has traveled and lived in a number of locations in and out of the United States. She lived in Singapore for six years,working as a Finance Manager to help Borders Books & Music set up its first international stores in Singapore and Australia. 

She started playing golf 12 years ago in Singapore with a group of friends.  Recently retired, she spends much of her time on the golf course.

Yvonne first joined EWGA Ann Arbor in 2003 and rejoined EWGA Atlanta in 2012. She values the benefits of EWGA; membership at Country Club of Roswell and the many opportunities to play during the week. She has had memberships with Lady Links a group in Tallahassee and Sisters Across America a group in Orlando. As a new member in Atlanta she has played with the groups at River Pines, Bobby Jones, St Marlo, and City Club of Marietta. She loves to play different golf courses throughout the United States and around the world. She has played courses in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Bali, Indonesia, Jamaica, and Dubai. 

Her golf goals are to improve her enjoyment of the game by shooting below 100 on a regular basis.
